"What Does 'Agree' Mean?"
As Dgj points out, engagement with language can be quite problematic. My favorite is "conduct based" which is applied to continuing sanctions against Iraq, Iran, Syria and others. :-)
On Tuesday I did a workshop at the 18th International Conference on Violence, Abuse, and Truama (IVAT) on The Clinical Gaze Critique in ActionHERE with Jancis Long, and Chris Zubiate of Psynergy. The language engagement relates to "diagnostic behavior" and our back-up argumentation goes to Foucault's "clinical gaze" critique and also to its implementation in the "madness" dynamism as described by medical anthropology.
