Subject: [s-acc] sit-lie experience

I spoke at today's "campaign kick-off" for the "No on S" Berkeley anti Sit-Lie Ordinance event.

I stated that in 1968 I'd organized an anti sit-lie group on Berkeley campus .. it was called "Students for a Dadaist Alternative" (SDA). At that time history took over and the human rights movements of the period, and notably feminism and the ethnic advocacy, took up the cause. I was ultimately put in psychiatric hospitalization (1971) because "DA DA" did not suit the psychiatric programmers of my existential being.  :-(

Today I talked about "Occupy our Behavior" (the theme of our Alternatives 2012 workshop) and was well received for that "grassroots respect" advocacy. [!] I am seeing that project/advocacy as a way forward in our effort to promote culture change in mental health and in society in general.

I'm a fool in the sense of Erasmus HERE and I use rhetoric to occupy my foolishness.

Top of the day!
