Yahoo! Groups® Web Interface

AFTER you subscribe to a Yahoo! Groups® Internet list Go to http://yahoogroups.com Depending on whether you have a Yahoo! ID already, Either SIGN IN Or Register You find yourself on the Yahoo! Groups® webpage. If not, then go to http://yahoogroups.com. Now it should say “Welcome Your Yahoo! ID”

Under “My Groups” [left column] you will find the comment, “You are not currently subscribed to any groups” Click on the ‘My Groups” link Click on the ‘Account Wizard” link Go to the [3rd] dialogue box which is labeled:    Don't have a password? Forgot your password? Enter your email address (the one you are using for the Yahoo! Groups® Click on the button marked, ‘Continue’ below the dialogue box You will find yourself on a page marked, “Enter authorization code.” Under this it says “Please check your email for your authorization code. This code will allow you to link your account to a Yahoo! ID” Wait a while. Experience shows this is only a ½ truth — it can take hours, or longer, for the email message with the authorization code to get to your account!

Eventually, you will find the email message with the authorization code in the Inbox of your email account Open the email. Copy down the authorization number. Now click on the link back to the Yahoo! Groups® ‘Account Wizard’ Enter the authorization number and hit ‘Continue’ Enter your the password for your Yahoo! ID and hit ‘Continue’ You should now be on Yahoo Groups!® Web Interface

Use of Web Interface When you go to http://yahoogroups.com and sign in using your Yahoo! ID, you will have web access to your Yahoo Groups!® Internet list(s) Click on the ‘My Groups” link Click on (one of) your Internet list(s) Among the list of links in the left column, check out especially ‘Messages’ which gives you the archives of the list from its beginning ‘Members’ which gives you a list of all the members of the Internet list and their [truncated] email addresses Enjoy!
